GTA offers exciting ways in which children can be involved -- both onstage and off!  Whether in their seats, in the classroom or on the boards, children of all ages are always welcome.  As audience members, young people have been empowered and inspired for over 30 years by our acclaimed WonderQuest productions, designed just for young minds and hearts to enjoy.

Young Actors on the MainStage
Every year in August, the first auditions of the season are open to anyone interested in participating onstage.  Opportunities for children to be cast vary according to what each show requires:  sometimes there have been no child parts, but in the last 5 years between WonderQuest and the GTA MainStage, there were 17 young people in the hard-working casts.  Rehearsal schedules for young actors are usually condensed, so that young actors may not be called every evening and will be dismissed by 9pm on school nights.  Audition announcements are sent to the GTA Email Club listing the ages of actors being cast.

ActorQuest is normally offered every January and July beginning with auditions and ending four weeks later with a young actors' performance and reception.
